A total of more than 60 academic papers have been published in international and domestic academic journals and important international conferences, of which more than 20 are included in SCI or EI. Dr Arun bestowed with PhD, Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India, 2018, M. Tech., Digital Signal Processing, Govind Ballabh Pant Engineering College, Pauri, India, 2010, and B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Uttar Pradesh Technical University, Lucknow, India, 2005. He was awarded Gold Medal in M. Tech., and the Academic Excellence award in the year 2010 and 2011. His research area in Biomedical Signal and Image Processing, Artificial Intelligence. Dr Arun has more than 14 years of teaching and research experience in the various institutions in India, which include Shobhit Institute of Engineering and Technology, Gangoh, Saharanpur, Shivalik College of Engineering, Dehradun, National Institute of Technology, Delhi, and presently, Atria Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India. Dr Arun also received MHRD scholarships during the research work at IIT Roorkee. His research area is Digital Signal and Image Processing, Medical Image Analysis, Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition. He has published more than 14 papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. He is an active researcher and reviewer for various indexed Journals and Conferences and given various technical talks. He has actively participated in more than 22 FDPs and more than 100 webinars and conducted workshops in the domain of Signal and Image Processing. He is currently advising IEEE Student Branch at Atria Institute of Technology, Bangalore, for the IEEE Bangalore Section.

Title: Intelligent Fault Diagnosis of Rotary Machinery Systems
Abstract: Industry 4.0 has enabled the automation of process improvements and decision making based on the collection of large amounts of plant data. Due to the economic advantages of maintenance optimization, there is significant interest from both academia and industry on the topic of fault detection and prognostics for complex systems. The objective of this speech is to address some challenges and recent results on fault diagnosis of rotary machinery systems, with a focus on advanced artificial intelligence algorithms developments. The talk will be concluded with some concluding remarks on both technical and practical aspects of intelligent fault diagnosis for rotary machinery systems.
Introduction: Prof. Karimi has been awarded as the 2016-2021 Web of Science Highly Cited Researcher in Engineering, the 2020 IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems Guillemin-Cauer Best Paper Award, August-Wilhelm-Scheer Visiting Professorship Award, JSPS (Japan Society for the Promotion of Science) Research Award, and Alexander-von-Humboldt-Stiftung research Award, for instance. He has also participated as General Chair, keynote/plenary speaker, distinguished speaker or program chair for several international conferences in the areas of Control Systems, Robotics and Mechatronics.
Prof. Goh Hui Hwang (IEEE Senior Member)

Introduction: Ir. Dr. Goh Hui Hwang is a practising electrical consultant and Registered Electrical Energy Manager. His technical interests and expertise include electrical engineering, power systems, renewable and sustainable energy, embedded power generation, wavelet analysis, load shedding, and data mining. Since 2008, Ir. Goh has been dedicating his profession to leading various research projects, putting his main focus on fostering innovation, development, and testing of new technologies that can be used to address sustainable energy issues in the developing world. He has won medals from many international expos, for the significant contributions of his innovations to the progress and welfare of the community. On top of his academic leadership, Ir. Goh further contributes to the promoting and fostering of the development of science, engineering and technology as an Associate of the Academy of Science Malaysia. He is a member of the Senior Evaluation Panel for Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC) of the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). Besides, he is also active in The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (Southern Branch) as the Advisor of IEM Student Section UTHM.

Introduction: Sohrab Mirsaeidi received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Malaysia in 2016. Subsequently, he furthered his Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Tsinghua University, China from 2016 to 2019. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU), China. Sohrab Mirsaeidi has published 60+ papers and 2 books in the field of Microgrids and Large-Scale Power Systems. He is a Member of the National Technical Committee of Measuring Relays and Protection Equipment Standardization of China, and has presided over and participated in several national research projects in China. He is an Editorial Board Member for several international journals and a Regular Reviewer for IEEE Transactions journals. He has also served as Chair, Keynote/Invited Speaker, and Technical Committee Member in 60+ international conferences. His main research interests include Control and Protection of Large-Scale Hybrid AC/DC Grids and Microgrids, Power System Stability, and Application of Power Electronics in Power Systems. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, and a Member of IET, CIGRE, and Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE).
